AR UIUX Design
Cinema4D∙Blender∙ Adobe∙Figma∙Unity
Contracted as a UIUX Designer for Mixed Reality Interaction at the headquarters in Munich, Germany. My team was focused on researching and developing HMI (Human Machine Interactions) products to ultimately be released within the next 5-7 years.
During CES 2024, the BMW team presented work that I contributed to during my time.
Details limited by NDA but here is a peek into my achievements!
Project 01. – Acted as 3D UIUX Designer for 9 months
- Development of various AR use-cases for mixed-reality driving experience by integrating 3D UI into the vehicle environment.
- In-Car 3D map navigation and infotainment experience design.
- Hybride workflows with various softwares. Concept development in Figma. 3D motion graphics design in Cinema4D and Blender. Transferring the 3D content into Unity and optimizing the lighting and texturing.
- This project was presented to C-level leadership in internal confidential annually Expo conference in 2022 successfully.
Project 02. – Achieved my Design Master Thesis in 6 months.
- Researched and developed the design language for the transitions between different Augmented-Reality displays for driving environment.
- Delivered this thesis project (grade 1.0) aligning academic rigor with practical and innovative HMI applications.
- Defined User journey and user flow design.
- Optical science research for the consideration of the safety influence on the innovative driving experience.
- Prototyping the Augmented-Reality application with C# in Unity.
- Qualitative user study design and execution including the results evaluation for navigating the further research and development.
